Dylan: America Ruined...

Thanks to slavery. And I thought it was the welfare state and lawyers. Silly me.

P.S. Is Dylan aware that slavery abounded in the world long before the U.S. was even founded? If so, why not "World ruined thanks to stigma of slavery"?

Dylan's brain burned out a long time ago. He hasn't seen reality since 1965.

Danny the Man-
Dylan is much smarter and aware than you are. He thinks, he doesn't react to manipulative propaganda. And sometimes he likes to wind the media up because the corporate media is so stupid.

Dylan is a poet and musical genius. Not so much when it comes to politics and world history.

While I agree, in part, that American does not have the most sterling record on race…………………….
- We’re still a work in progress as far as nations go. 1776/87 doesn’t make us anywhere near as old as many nations of world that might claim to have a better record on race.
- Although Mr. Dylan and I might have a differing view on race relations than our conservative pals on here, there isn’t exactly a template for integrating 300 million + people from countless numbers of different cultures into one happy family.
- Giving things up in a peaceful way is a relatively new concept in humanity. I wouldn’t trade the Civil War for slavery lasting until 1979.
- As someone who sees myself as a progressive / liberal, I like to work on things that plague society. I don’t believe that anything is permanently ruined when you talk about how human beings act towards each other. So we’re not there yet; so what? Do something to make it better Bob.

Dylan WAS a poet and musical genius. He had a motorcycle accident back in the mid 60's and has not been right since.

I like everyone, I enslaved no one, I am not responsible for their happiness or their healthcare.
