Free Heather Hess?
Heather Hess, 23, is accused of killing two-year-old David Miller at her home in Upper Chi last December.
Monday, the mother of three was not the distraught, tear-stained suspect that she was right after her arrest. She was cool and even a bit angry when she asserted that she has been "wrongly accused" and that police did an "inadequate" job investigating the boy's death. Is has a posse of supporters made up of friends and family who attend every court hearing wearing "Free Heather Hess" T-shirts. It's quite a sight.

UPDATE: Mrs. Spencerblog sez that no responsible adult caring for a toddler would let that child sleep for 17.5 hours without thinking something was medically wrong with him. She's got a point.

I heard she broke bail, and that she's back in jail because she does drugs. I guess she cant be entirely too innocent huh?

Thats funny that you say you "HEARD" that she was doing drugs. Do you know that for a fact? No you dont!!. And that just goes to show that people go by what they hear and not the truth anymore. So that being dont put your scence on something unless you kno the truth!!
She did break her bail and she was arrested for buying drugs. Maybe if her family told the truth to the people that are supporting her they would know that also.

i think everyone is missing the main objective here a little boy lost his life and someone is on trial for something she didnt mean to happen heather is a good person and everyone that knows her knows it true she has been there for every child in my family and its heartbreaking what happen to david but sometimes accidents do happen thats why their accidents i prey for a good outcome for heather i know her life will never be the same but atleast she would be able to spend it with her kids, and the poeple that love her. and ashley you shouldnt waste your breath explaining your self to people that dont kno her or anything about the case you know that she isnt capable of hurting a child and so does the people that know her. people need to stop assuming and just keep there thoughts to themselves. rip little david and my prayers are with heather, her kids need their mom.

Dident u ever make mistakes in yourlife? Drugs are a disease. Do research! I've known all partys involved in this case all their lives and it was an accident. Heather was not on drugs when this. ACCIDENT occured. Did u ever think she's being medicated because of all that's going on? Ppl need to get ghier facts straight before asuming. What steps were taken on heathers part I agree were wrong, but this was a very young mother who clearly had her hands too full at that moment. And a poor innocent baby is now in heaven because of this. But again I say, accidents happen. Unfortunately this was a horriable sad tragic accident!

#1 Your grammar/ spelling skills are horrendous and I would suggest picking up a book once in awhile. Webster's dictionary perhaps?
#2 People are going to have their own opinion as to what happened whether you like it or not.
#3 Unless you were in the house when this tragedy occurred, you do NOT know for a fact what she did or did not do.
Last but not least,
#4 If there is an unresponsive child found in your care with blue lips and your FIRST call is NOT 911, there is something very wrong with you. I don't care that the father was working with her fiancée. There is NO excuse for not calling 911 first. If roles were reversed and your child was the one in trouble, would you want the babysitter to call you first or 911? If you say you would want them to call you first you are either lying or you are a selfish asshole who does not deserve to have children.

Funny that now Heather has admitted to hurting the child(at least she has somewhat admitted that she hurt him)they don't want any bashing of Heather. sentencing isn't until March. Wish they could have done that last night as well.
So if little David arrived at her home and was well how did he leave it unresponsive with CLEAR indication (according to the autopsy-which they don't make up!) of blunt force trauma to the head???
