Test Tube Burger?

Scientists say the first laboratory meat made from bovine stem cells will be ready for consumption by October.

Well, it sounds like a more humane way of getting meat than from a slaughterhouse. But will it be as tasty?

Most people believe their meat comes only from neat little plastic wrapped packages. So I think most won't object. It's not like men and woman are going out to the barn and butchering any meat, fowl or pork on their own anymore!

As long as it taste the same count me in as an eater! (Let's place bets on which fast food joint is first to market with it. )

What is wrong with butchering. The several years we did it on a small scale, we had fun. And the meat was delicious.

Local, York county, farmer raised steer and hog to order. We split half of each with another couple. And we participated in the butchering. Making panhaus (scrapple) was quite a joy.

Danny, I thought you were a hunter.
