ACORN Reborn

They're baaaa-aaack!
The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.
Someone's got to counsel fake pimps on how to run the sex trafficking operations.

I have a great source at Occupy Philly that tells me they are working hard to not have union and outside connected involvement in their protest.

Yo, Dannytheman... Do you really think the Occupy movement is void of Acorn and the DNC? Can you really believe the movement just emerged from the ground up to protest whatever it is they are protesting? There can be no doubt but that this 'movement' came about because of some very, very high level thinking. Please tell your 'great source' at Occupy Philly that they are being taken for a ride. They are merely pawns in The Master's chess game of achieving checkmate...

I didn't say the Occupy movement is void of Acorn or any outside influences, did I?

I said that the Occupy Philly group is attempting to NOT let them influence their position.

I am not outing my source, thank you very much. He knows I don't agree with ideological thinking, but I support his RIGHT to protest and be dedicated to his cause.

Some of you people forget that protesting government is protected by the 1st amendment, right?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of Grievances.

Dan - We're on the same page. A friend of mine was in NY yesterday, and said that protesters were complaining about outside influences. We had the same problem when we protested the invasion of Iraq in NY. PETA, Anti capital punishment, gay rights, free Mumia, all wanted in on the action.

Anon - Dan didn't say anything about them not being influenced by Acorn or other outside influences. But what if they are? Is the Tea Party void of outside influences?
