Old Glory Story

What do a Yankees jersey and an American flag decal have in common? My print column is up.

no one saw the real issue here, a firefighter refused a direct order given by a superior officer. not the kind of firefighter i'd want on my team. New York City had the same issue, their firefighters removed the decals, complained to the Commissioner and got the directive changed. thats how you get things done not by disobeying orders.

This is a problem because of the idiotic school uniform policy in the first place.
The school violated not only it's own school uniform policy, but the reasons it supposedly instituted the policy in the first place.

Weren't the kids who didn't own Phillies shirt ALSO singled out?

"Tops - Hunter green or white polo type shirt either short or long sleeve. In cold weather, a hunter green or white cardigan sweater may also be worn. All shirts must be tucked in."

Maybe they'll be okay for the Eagles.
