The Un-free Market and March Madness

Vedder and Denhart explain how universities exploit top athletes to line their own pockets. When it comes to getting their market value, big-time college athletes don't.

So what else is new?

Vedder and Denhard have a point.

Still, these athletes get a great stage on which to perform. They are worshipped. And they get the sheer unadulterated fun of playing in front of millions. Some things are more important than money.
