Obama showed his stupidity with that remark. Las Vegas is one of the top convention places in the country for many reasons, only one of which is that you have a good time there. More importantly for businesses, there are many cheap flight options from all over the country into Las Vegas and back to their originating destination, along with tons of hotels competing for your business, to book your convention and lodging, so you get a better rate than you could in other places. I wonder how Harry Reid feels about this...
