Gil - Pipes says "But the assertion that the costs of providing health insurance cripples American corporations in the global economy is simply wrong." Thats not what we've been told over the past 8 years. We kept hearing that GM cant compete with Toyota partly because of employee benefits. Why is it suddenly no longer true? On NPR today they were saying that many Euro nations had better health care, at half the cost of the American system. Are they making this up?
