Torture on Obama's Watch?

A human rights lawyer is claiming that abuse has gotten much worse since Obama became president.

Abuses began to pick up in December after Obama was elected, human rights lawyer Ahmed Ghappour told Reuters. He cited beatings, the dislocation of limbs, spraying of pepper spray into closed cells, applying pepper spray to toilet paper and over-forcefeeding detainees who are on hunger strike.

Anybody think this "attorney" and his clients might be LYING?

1) since Obama became president.

2) Abuses began to pick up in December after Obama was elected,

Obama didn't BECOME president until late January. So, any previous abuse would be Bush admin getting in some last minute torture with the torturers they hired.

Cute Gil. Your heading "Torture on Obamas Watch" makes it sound as though Obama personally has someting to do with this. After reading the story, I think we can all agree that this demands a thorough investigation.

Obama did not become president until January 20th. Why did everyone want to kick George Bush out before his time. We have one president at a time.
