Comparing Bush to a chimp, is an insult to chimps.

I love the apology... "the New York Post has apologized to any of its readers who took offense because they misconstrued to whom and what the cartoon was referring."

In other words, we're sorry you were too stupid to get the point.

I also love how you can't talk bad about the President of the United Stats anymore. This was a favorite pass time of these people 2 months ago. What will they do for the next four years? Bob still can't let go.

I got the joke of the cartoon, but in general, you can't make any relation between the President and an ape/primate in any fashion without race being an issue. It's one worth staying away from in any fashion as attempts to explain are quickly silenced by the deafening sounds of outrage.

I'm sure this is the first of many racially insenstive cartoons/op-eds we'll see during the Obama administration - running at a similar rate to what we saw during the election.

Nice column there, Gil...

Rupert Murdoch - publisher of The Post - publically apologized for the cartoon today.

So I guess we can assume Rupert didn't "get" the humor either, huh?

Even the guy running Faux News knows it was offensive, but you - and the other G-No!-P wingnuts - don't...Sheesh...

But hey, as long as Rush tells you mindless robots what to think, everything's fine.
