UPPER DARBY — An 82-year-old nun was mugged and beaten recently in the parking lot of the St. Alice Church complex at Walnut Street and Hampden Road.

Agreed, if the criminal had a choice between the nun and gil they should go after gil. even he would have more dough than the nun and would probably put up less of a fight.
How come it took so long for this to make the News. In the City the bad guys would be in custody by now. Maybe Chitwood should go out on patrol instead of muggung for the cameras. How did they bury this for so long?

Nuns also don't carry guns - they are easy targets like any other class of people who remain unarmed.
