Total exaggeration, since Obama is providing media with more documents and transparency then they've ever had. Obama's ordered the various departments to handle Freedom of Information requests by leaning to the side of more access and less secrecy.
The current whining about access is just that: whining. The Obama administration is busy doing real policy work and still getting up to speed with the non-speedy and outdated White House communications infrastructure that is behind what they had during the campaign. This week there were staffers without phone extensions, email, etc.
Once the operation is up and running, there will be plenty of access.
I think we need a new watch dog. This one has lost his bark.
