Hear No Evil
NYT's Bob Herbert (think Paul Krugman without the economics degree) freaks out that anyone would listen to ANYTHING the GOP has to say about ANYTHING.
Republicans have ruined the country, sent people to the "poorhouse by the millions."
"When the G.O.P. talks, nobody should listen."
What America needs is a one-party system like say, Cuba's, to get rolling again, right Bob?
That way, if the Democrats deficit-spending stimulus package fails to bring us out of this recession, we won't have to listen to baby-eating Republicans annoyingly say "We told you so."
"This is a party," Herbert screeches, "that, given a choice between Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, would choose Ronald Reagan in a heartbeat."
Both Lincoln and Reagan were good Republicans. Herbert is a good Democrat. Or at least a good example of one.

The NYT is reaching tabloid status. Every once in a while when you want to remind yourself just how sane you are, pick up the NYT and read some nonsense.
