Hardballer Goes Soft on Senate Run

Despite speculation, Chris Matthews says he won't run for Arlen Specter's Senate seat.

Hey, if Al Franken can win a Senate seat (almost) Matthews could.

But this gives our Joe Sestak more open running room if he decides the House isn't a big enough place for his awesome talents.

Besides, when you're a Senator there are fewer names to remember.

sestak has no chance. if you want to speculate as to what SE PA congressman has a shot, look at patrick murphy.

matthews bowing out is great for the state.

Yeah Patrick Murphy has Senator written all over him.

Sestak is another ham and egger like California's Adam Schiff.

I like Josh Shapiro or Jack Wagner. Despite Congressman Sestak's talents (and war chest), he cannot win statewide. Arlen Specter will not be the candiddate...either by his own hand or the party primary. I have said it before and I'll say it again...Pat Meehan would be a very formidable candidate in the Senate race. Dems may not be able to beat him there (he fails for governor...miserably). Unless the rumor I hear about COunty Council is true, of course.

Dishonest Dave and Boring Bob should run for office on the Hurt Feelings Party ticket!
Their main platform plank could be: “We hate Bush because he hurt our feelings! Wah!” Lol…
