While I applaud his service, I don't think he can really do his Council, let alone State Rep job from overseas and should give up the seats so his constituents can have the representation they voted for actually present.
Just because he is serving his country, that doesn't entitle him to keep a seat. I certainly hope he isn't getting paid his State Rep salary while he's away.
Like being on the Presidential campaign trail as a US Senator? How much work did they do?
