O's Tax Plan Not Heritage's Cup of Tea

Oops.

The conservative Heritage Foundation is NOT supporting the Obama tax plan, as claimed in an ad by the Obama campaign.

The foundation has asked the campaign to take down the ad. Have they? Will they? Stay tuned.

UPDATE: Some 24 hours later, the ad is still up to misinform voters.

Gil did you see that the Financial Times endorsed Obama. Not really a socialist rag. add Warren Buffet, Ben Bernanke, and ohh yeah that famous Republician Socialist Larry Hunter.

and by the way, I'm pretty sure Obama will pull the ads, but the quote was as it was presented/ printed in the former NY Sun. so your context is a bit off.

My context is not a "bit off." It has been fully chewed and is completely digested.

Larry Hunter? Never heard of 'em.

The Heritage Foundation liked the Bush tax cuts, that McCain wants to make permanent. They like Bush's tax policy, so they like McCain's continuation of it.

Obama ad should read: "Heritage Foundation likes McCain because he will continue Bush's policies".

The McCain people were really dumb to believe that pro-lifer Palin would unite the base AND get the Hillary people.

The reality (which is unkind to neocons) is that Palin got the religious base, but lost the "policy" conservatives. She also drove tons of women to get involved for Obama because Palin represents a giant step backwards for women.

Simply saying an untruth -no matter how many times- doesn't make it magically come true, Dishonest Dave. Sorry.
This is something that you and your Affirmative Action Candidate need to learn.
