We're Almost Number One!

Hey, did you know that with a combined total of 41.5 percent, Pennsylvania has the second highest corporate tax rate IN THE WORLD? (Just keep scrolling down.)

We're only one-tenth of a percent behind Iowa. (Ireland's is 12.5 percent. No wonder its economy is booming. And Pennyslvania's is, well... not.)

Before he leaves office Ed Rendell should do all he can to make the Keystone State Number 1.

There is no more egregious example of tax loophole abuse than the many Liberal advocacy/ activist groups who fail to pay taxes under the guise of being “non-profits”, which rules clearly dictate they cannot be at all political… Eviron groups, 527s, NAACP and black churches like Obama’s… Legally, if an NAACP executive so much as uses a NAACP paid for cellphone to talk politics they are in violation of the law. But these Lib-protected groups often avoid investigation and prosecution because they are Lib-protected. They screamed “racism!” when the feds wanted to investigate the NAACP for their flagrant abuses, once again wielding racial PC as a defensive tool to defend their illegal activity.

This is a good example of how the LibDems just don’t get how things work. They see a chance to grab money directly and do so, the devil with the repercussions.
See, if instead of overtaxing companies –which every single financial mind says hurts jobs and investment and all that- if instead we abolished the business tax completely, the resulting influx of business and the following revenue would more than make up for the lost oppressive tax grab, as Pa would once again been seen as a business-friendly state in classic trickle-down style. Tax cuts work.
But Socialist LibDems always fail to look to the future, they want a money grab NOW for their wealth spreading schemes. That’s not very “progressive” but it’s plenty Socialist.

And trying to explain this basic concept to Libs is like trying to tell a bratty four year old why they can’t have candy right before dinner. But no one ever said that Liberals aren’t childish.
As always, shortsighted Liberalism causes more harm than good. Why would anyone let such people call the shots on anything?

great way of preventing business from coming to PA, maybe this is why we're the oldest state in the union - residents are all retired and workers are in other states!
