McCain-Palin Will Pack 'Em In

We know the Media courthouse provides a nice backdrop, but if the GOP wanted even more people to show up for McCain-Palin, they should have had this shindig at Rose Tree Park, Linvilla Orchard, or the football stadium at Villanova

Palin drew 60,000 people in Florida.

Veterans Square is too small for the throng they're expecting.

Worst of all, it's going to screw up Italian Night at the Towne House.

Be there or be a filthy stinking Donkey!

Hey, how come the Roman article (DT 9/22) on the McCain/ Palin rally in Media felt the need to slip in an advertisement for those kooks in the local Peace/ Surrender/ Blame America First Movement? I don’t recall the DT doing such favor for any Rightie protest groups in stories when Biden was coming. But then, we were all prolly at work.

so pat eiding, head of the building trades council of philadelphia laments that some of the white democrats from North East Phila won't vote for Obama because of his skin color. Hey Pat, you were once head of the Absestos Workers Local 14, how many minorities did you have employed there during your 10 plus year reign. How about the other craft unions in the Building Trades Local? Hypocrites and liberals, perfect together

Sure, Righties go to work rather than taking time to heckle their opponents. And when we do take off from work it is to go show our support. It’s simple positive vs. negative/ Rightie vs. Lib. Classic. Typical.

Why do Liberals always seem to have so much available free time to go protesting?
And why are Libs always so angry and loud?
At the rally Monday there were a bunch of shrill Libs there trying to disrupt the event by complaining and shouting about, well, mostly about their hurt feelings. Ya almost never see this from Righties. And the rare times you do they are more reserved and respectful than the filthy emotional Libs.

This is another notable difference in behavior between the decent Righties and the classless LibDonkeys. The Repub masses in attendance were quite, orderly and respectful. Righties always take the high road. No fights, no conflicts, little trash left behind, classier. And physically, Repubs are just better looking people. Looking around there is no denying this (must be some link between warped politics and physical appearance.)

Oh, but the Daily Times gave their Lib protestor buddies too much credit in the recap today. To read Amy Brisson’s piece one would think the shrill folks drowned out the speakers on stage, while this was far from the case. I didn’t hear them but once, once the event started. And they were quickly drowned out by chants of “U-S-A! U-S-A!” in a classic battle between patriotism and treason.

I simply, calmly and with a big grin, reminded the angry folks that the President of the United States is not the enemy, that terrorists and their Liberal enablers are.

Randal’s Repub Rally Recap

While standing in line waiting to go through security, a young girl who was working the crowd approached us and started asking scripted, loaded Lib questions as to why we were there and why we support Repubs. She really was adorable with her youthful face and rainbow cropped hair and hippie attire, although she looked like she could use a shower and something to eat. Smiling, I quickly dispatched her childish inquiries and our little group turned her questions back on her. Turns out this little girl wasn’t even old enough to vote. When asked why she was there, where her Libism came from and where her parents were, she stammered (not unlike Obama without a teleprompter) and she admitted that her parents put her up to it. When asked why she wasn’t in school this little dummy replied, again in scripted Lib tongues, that she didn’t attend school as she went on a brief rant about how schools are nothing more than programming centers created by the powers to brainwash the masses. This elicited groans and pitiful dismissive chuckles from those within earshot. (I didn’t bother to point out to her how close to correct she really was, although the brainwashing done in schools is much more of a Lying Lib nature.) This troubled and confused child had obviously been programmed at home. But at least she “felt” like she was taking part in something.
That sure is some parenting and “education” angry Libs give their kids. This child needed love, not warped hippie Lib indoctrination by those who are supposed to take care of her, raise her and shape her into a responsible, functioning, contributing citizen.

When it was my turn to go through the security gate, after emptying my pockets as instructed, as I went through the metal detector it went off (I think it musta been my belt buckle). So I got stopped and searched by the Secret Service, gone over with a handheld wand. I didn’t mind as I stood there facing thousands in line behind me with my arms spread and a big smile on my face, all eyes on me. I saw it as a chance for them all to enjoy my “Allergic to Democrats” t-shirt, for which I received many compliments that day. I even thanked the jack-booted gentleman and gave him a quick pat on the shoulder as he let me pass.

As they have done with wiretapping, when Libs complain about such minor inconvenience at airports and such, they are essentially using liberty as a catchall for their enemy-enabling dissent. Which, of course, is another way of advocating for their terrorists friends, to enable them to carry out their dastardly deeds against America. See, this is yet another way Libs aid our enemies in the name of “dissent” and “liberty”. And judging by the anger and hatred expressed by the Lib protestors in attendance, it ain’t much of a stretch to think some of them wouldn’t mind a weapon or bomb or two getting smuggled into such a Repub event. Libs’ level of anger and raw hatred for fellow Americans with whom they disagree clearly borders on treason and mental illness. I’ve been saying this for some time and yesterday it was reaffirmed in person.
For the next event I intend on having a t-shirt made which will simply say “Internment camps for treasonous Liberals” or “Libs, leave your kids alone”.

It was a good event and I saw many friends. We bought a hat, a button and a bumper sticker that says “NObama”. The speakers were good and it was fun to silently taunt the Lib protestors on the other side of the fence with my Elephant finger puppet, while wearing a great big grin, of course. After snapping a pic of the Straight Talk Express bus rolling out, a nice day in town was wrapped up with a lovely evening of dinner and drinks at the café seating outside the Towne House. But I forget to bring a cigar.

Let me nip this right now before our resident Petty Lib jumps on it and attempts to twist it... This should read:

And physically, Repubs are just better looking people. Looking around there is no denying this (must be some link between warped Lib politics and poor physical appearance.)

i was about 10' from the podium's right-corner side, my back to the two bleachers reserved for the media. Good time, good message, spirited crowd. The Teutels were a nice yet unsurprising touch. Joe Liberman was a nice touch, he had a great line about Media finally backing McCain.

Of course, we started the day with 2 pints each from the Iron Hill, Oktoberfest is in full bloom!

Libs pimp out kids to spread their warped propaganda. It was like a scene out of Oliver Twist only instead of stealing the kid was spreading Lib idiocy! And the hippie Lib child we spoke to certainly had been twisted.

I thought about that poor child all evening. Poor kid. And she isn’t even aware of what her parents are doing to her. There oughta be a law.

Libs are ugly people inside and out.

At dinner later, seated at the table next to us was an older couple whom we recognized from the crowd earlier. They had come down from Langhorne or somewhere for the rally. As we chatted they admitted to not really being McCain fans but rather they were displaced Hillary supporters who just couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Obama. I bought them a round. They explained that they were very angry over what the Donkey Party did to Hill, forsaking her for Obama. They had considered not voting at all but wanted to give the Repub ticket a chance, so they came to the rally to check out McCain and Palin. They liked what they heard, well enough, particularly the defected Dem, Hillary fundraiser woman, who spoke (Greta something -I don’t recall her last name right now). I told them about the buzz going ‘round the internet that Biden was supposed to step out and Hill step in. I asked them what that would do to their vote, if that would be enough to send them back to the Donkey stable. They hadn’t heard this and said if it were to really happen they’d have to think hard about it. A few short minutes later they tapped me on the shoulder and said they had come to their conclusion: they would NOT vote for Obama even with Hill in the #2 slot. I offered to get them another round but they declined. Good folks.

off topic - Do I ever love the Towne House - Media has a great selection of restaurants with different styles/ethnic brands, but sometimes all you want are the originals. The Towne House NEVER disappoints.

randal, sorry I didn't see you there, I could have lent you one of my Macanudo Library editions straight out of the new Humidor. Nothing like walking back to your house after a rally with a good cigar.

no they weren't...i was standing along veterans square while the rally was going on, and as soon as palin finished speaking, many women left the courthouse area on their way out (didn't even care to hear mccain speak, great repulblicans!) anyway, several of them shouted obsceneties at the obama supporters as they went by.

Another Dishonest Liberal Editorial in the DT today (9/24). This time the writer advocated for their Angry Lib protestor buddies at the Repub Rally in Media by dishonestly attempting to frame their segregation as a 1st Amendment free speech issue when clearly it is not. While free speech is guaranteed –and no one tried to silence the protestors- being seen by TV cameras is NOT guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. That is to say, we’re given the right to speak whatever we want but there is NO right to be seen or heard by others or to disrupt a legal gathering. For the Lying Libs on the DT Editorial Board to advance this blatant lie is despicable, just another abuse of the Lib Press trying to help their LibDem buddies in this election season.
The DT Libs owe us a retraction.

If the TV cameras showed only the Obama supporters and didn't give McCain/Palin any time, Randal would be the first one complaining that they had been denied their First Amendment rights.

1) I did not see any such thing occur during the several hours I was there. The playful tormenting of them that I partook in was as I described, delivered with a big smile.
2) I’m not inclined to believe the unsubstantiated partisan allegations of an anonymous poster on a blog board anyway.
3) Even if it did happen as you claim, certainly the classless Obama folks and Angry Lib protestors who had been hurling offensive expletives all day deserved whatever they got from the Repubs in attendance. One could hardly blame a Repub for hauling off and bashing them in the mouth. Had one of them said something offensive to my girl, that’s just exactly what would have happened.

I didn’t call the little dummy a little dummy to her face. I was nice to her. I pitied her as I playfully tried to straighten her out. I wanted to rescue her from that Liberal idiot car wreck and take her home and nurse her back to mental health.
Some Repubs had their kids there too but there were NO Repub urchin children working the crowd spouting propaganda fed them by their parents. None.

No, I would have complained that the biased Liberal Media had once again misused their power to assist their chosen Affirmative Action Candidate and his supporters.

It was a Repub rally, after all.

Cost of the financial bailout - 25 billion dollars
Reading of Randal's enjoyment at being frisked by a jack-booted gentleman, as he spreads his arms, with a big smile on his face, in front of an audience of thousands?
PRICELESS!

Gil- After reading Randals ramble, I have come to the conclusion that your job as the conservative voice of the Times is safe.
