The Case Against Mr. Audacity

David Freddoso makes "The Case Against Barack Obama" in his new book of the same name. A snippet can be found in today's WSJ.

Obama isn't the reformer he pretends to be, at least if you look at his record in Chicago. He threw in his lot with the Democratic machine there and against the reform movement.

He won his first election by getting all his opponents thrown off the ballot and then tolerated the corruption of the Daley and Stroger armies of the night, including the corruption of Tony Rezko.

Harry Truman was a product of local machine politics in Illinois and turned out to be a pretty good president. But then, he never had the audacity to claim that he was above the sort of politics that got him to the Oval Office.

He’s audacious alright. Barry Hussein Obama has shown himself to be nothing more than just another lying politician willing to say or do anything to get elected. Some “change” that.
