Run, Gunga, Run

Richard Cohen voices his doubts about Obama.

Money Q:

"Just tell me one thing Barack Obama has done that you admire," I asked a prominent Democrat. He paused and then said that he admired Obama's speech to the Democratic convention in 2004. I agreed. It was a hell of a speech, but it was just a speech.

"On the other hand, I continued, I could cite four or five actions -- not speeches -- that John McCain has taken that elicit my admiration, even my awe. First, of course, is his decision as a Vietnam War POW to refuse freedom out of concern that he would be exploited for propaganda purposes. To paraphrase what Kipling said about Gunga Din, John McCain is a better man than most."

Of course McCain is the better candidate. No question. He’s more qualified and more experienced and smarter than B. Hussein Obama. But, just as with all misguided Affirmative Action programs, none of that matters to folks who want to see Obama president just and only because he is black.
The LibDem House’s silly apology for slavery yesterday was just another move designed to benefit this Lib cause by fostering more White Guilt in voters in the run up to the November election.

Oh, also… Get out your checkbooks and be prepared to pay slavery reparations, folks. More of this kind of crap is what we can expect with Radical Liberals controlling Congress and a Radical Liberal black militant like Obama in the White House with no one there to stop them.

And I admire a man who cheats on the wife who waited for him while he was a POW.

After finding his wife in a disfigured state due to an accident, McCain then went and found himself a new wife, a rich beer heiress to boot.

And let's not forget McCain is flopping around more than a bluefish on a deck of a charter boat.

And yet despite all that petty nothingness, McCain is still a better man for the job than the hollow Black Affirmative Action Candidate.
