A Low-Class Attack? Please

On Good Morning America, Obama warns the GOP to refrain from taking shots at his wife.

The shot being fired at Mrs. Obama are her own words. Specifically, the comment she made weeks ago about how for the first time in her adult life she is "proud" of America because her husband is running for president.

She seems prone to making silly remarks. Like when she told a crowd in L.A., as president her husband "will require you to work."

"He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism ... that you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed."

Obama called the using of his wife's comments "an attack on my family" and "low-class."

Yes, well. The prickly senator from Illinois has been through this before. When his spiritual mentor embarrassed him, his first reaction was that he could no more disown him than he could his own white grandmother. A few weeks later, he disowned him.

Obama said his political opponents better "be careful" how they treat his wife. Please. What makes him think he can control what his political opponents do? It's his wife who needs to be more careful about what she says and how she says it.

Not that she needs to be worried about being "disowned" like their former pastor.

Still, if Obama doesn't like his wife's publicly-spoken words being used against his candidacy he shouldn't put her out there on the stump and risk her saying embarrassing things or he should hire a better speech writer for her.

It’s offensive defensive bullying.
Same old thing blacks have been playing for so long: “We can say anything we want but whitey better not dare comment on anything we say”.
Think about Howie Dean warning whites that if they so much as mention Reverend Wright that they risk feeling a blow from the “Racist!” Sword of Damocles.

Is this the sort of dishonest whiny weasel we want as President of the United States?

Libs always try to play this one-sided hypocritical game. The same thing happened with the Willies. They put Chelsea out on the campaign trail and then still tried to shield her and have her remain untouchable from any criticism.

Don’t let the Lying Libs lie to ya, of course EVERY SINGLE THING PUT FORTH BY A PLAYER IN THE POLITICAL GAME IS FAIR GAME for scrutiny and or attack, including the players themselves.
