If It Moves, Regulate It

Massive regulations supposedly to prevent climate change is the greatest threat to American free enterprise since the 1930s. The power shift to the political class will be monumental. And it will do little to help the environment.

That's progressive collectivism for you. Little progress with power collecting toward politicans and bureaucrats.

Money Q:

"The upshot is that trillions in assets and millions of jobs would be at the mercy of Congress and the bureaucracy, all for greenhouse gas reductions that would have a meaningless impact on global carbon emissions if China and India don't participate. And only somewhat less meaningless if they do."

Here’s what Cons have to say about the pending misnomer Climate Change Bill: “the bill would mean a "massive redistribution of wealth" that would be "extremely destructive to economic growth."”

The dire impending doom & gloom of global warming is a Liberal lie with an agenda. And in their usual dishonest fashion, they’re stoking emotions in order to drown out reason and facts. In short, the Libs are lying to you again.

I love it. We're putting ourselves in a deep corner. Steeper regulations yet no new energy solutions. No control of say in what China or India does with their environmental regulations (don't tell me a tarriff works in this global world). It's amazing that this country never learned from the energy crisis of the 70s that an effective Energy Plan needs to be implemented for long term solutions. World production is short millions of barrels a day, the next wave of technology is not ready for implementation and adoption, and we have sources prime for drilling. Yet we can't stop tripping over our own feet.

I fault every administration from Carter on for this fiasco. We're living in a situation fit for a Michael Crichton Novel...
