I'm skeptical about the Smiley Face Killer story but I'm with Tom Booth's mom on this question: How does a 24-year-old man drown in a creek two feet deep?

Anonymous? You are a sick person. To Gil? I'm also perplexed as to just why this young man was in a creek. Also, the story states that a video camera saw him arrive, but not leave the bar.
Did he go out the back door? A window? did someone mess with the tape? If I were this kids Dad I would want to know!

This smiley face thing is the sort of crime (-?) that is sure to breed copycats. Now that this has been splashed all over, every time a person drowns makes local news some jokester is gonna rush to the scene and spray a smiley face. That may be the case here.
