Sen. Specter and his Crusade for "Honest" NFL Games

See my print column today on Patriots coach Bill Belichick going over the "videotapes" on Arlen Specter.

My boy, Patterico (a lawyer and prosecutor in L.A.) has his own opinion of Sen. Specter's witch hunt.

Hint: It isn't flattering.

What a waste of time. RINO Specter is a stooge. This has been yet another great big non-issue from the start. Every team videotapes their opponents. The way I understand it is the only difference this time was that the guy holding the camera was on the field. Had he been sitting in, say, the fourth row in the stands videotaping across the field at the opposing bench there would be no foul. And it can hardly be called “cheating” anyway when the actions of the opposing team are done out in the open, permitting everyone including their opponents to see and video them.
Doesn’t Congress have more important things to do, like tying the hands of our military thereby enabling and emboldening our sworn enemies, all for their hatred of our President and their quest to use that to seize power?

I don't want the Lombardi trophy from SB XXXIX if that's Spector's goal. What are we going to do, bring back the 2004 team and celebrate a three year old should have been victory?

This isn't worth it...

McNabb defeated the Eagles in the Superbowl. Their loss wasn’t due to some “cheating” by the Pats.
Kinda like how Dave D’s “arguments” are self defeated by his own Libism.

Rush was right. He was sooo right.
