The Clinton 'We Lose, We Win' Strategy

Former Clinton advisor Dick Morris accuses the Clintons of engaging in a Nixon-like Southern stragedy.

Money Q:

... if blacks deliver South Carolina to Obama, everybody will know that they are bloc-voting. That will trigger a massive white backlash against Obama and will drive white voters to Hillary Clinton."

Bill's never been above playing racial politics. This is his Brother Toldja moment.

I suspect that’s a pretty good assessment of what the Willies are up to. Dick Morris knows them pretty well.
Racial politics is ugly stuff. But the entire issue of blacks blindly voting for the Black candidate for no other reason than he and they are black needs to be addressed. This displays a disgusting pervasive level of racism in the broad black community that some of us have been harping about for some time but the Apologist Lib Media ignores and refuses to condemn the way they do the rare instances of remaining white racism. That such blatant racism is not only tolerated but catered to rather than being publicly condemned by politicians is despicable. If whites were to blindly vote race this way it would rightly be called racism. But when blacks do it it’s called “solidarity”, or something. Racial advocacy is racism just the same. To vote FOR someone only because of their race IS JUST AS WRONG as voting AGAINST them only because of their race. Period. Doesn’t matter if it’s whites or blacks doing it. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

Maybe this racial dust up will be good. It may serve to awaken people to the truly ugly racial attitudes of those who we are forever scolded deserve our guilt-ridden sympathy and charity and celebration. And perhaps it will start our movement to abolishing this Racial Double Standard in our society and we can finally get to realizing King’s Dream, for real.

I’ve been saying for years that despite the never ending societal racial scoldings ever misdirected at whites that blacks are by far the most racist group today. Now there can no longer be any question as to this fact. Just take a look at the ballots.

Thanks for posting this, G.

No matter how you feel about the Clinton's personally, no one can deny that they are wily politicians. One thing they know who to do is spin a situation to win over the masses, making sense of non-sense to them.

Randal,

You're welcome for the post. But I gotta disagree with you.

No racial group has a claim or can be claimed to be the most racist.

Blacks, as a group, might be a little more paranoid when it comes to racial issues, suspecting white racism when little or none exists. But that's understandable given America's (and the world's) historical treatment of blacks in general.

And let's not kid ourselves, there are still plenty of white racists and white racism out there.

Fortunately for the country, and for blacks specifically, its not nearly as prevelant as it used to be and it is no longer the biggest obstacle to black advancement or success. But it's still out there and it should be condemned by all well-meaning and decent people.

Black racism too.

I agree with you Gil. There's no denying that race will now plays a big part in the nomination but I wouldn't classify it as racism.

No one can blame black people for being excited about having the first legitimate black presidential candidate after years of seeing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton giving it a go.

Obama recognizes this and rightfully down plays race, knowing that the black vote will be there for him and so as not to turn off the white votes.

The Clinton's have also recognized this and their strategy is nothing short of brilliant.

Democratic voters of all races should be offended that these Jedi mind tricks are being played on them as part of the big charade to win their vote.

Oh yeah, the Dark Side has tricks. O is well capable of playing up his race when it serves him. He can be plenty black when he wants to be, depending upon his audience at the moment. And his minions certainly haven’t forgotten he is black. Good folks like E here seem willing to overlook this, or maybe they don’t notice it like others of us do.

Yes we can. And we should. We’re not supposed to divide ourselves into teams based on the color of our jerseys. And the fact that O knows he has the so-called “black vote” (now there’s a racist term!) in his pocket with little or no real effort to win it is a disgusting confirmation of what I have been saying here about the prevailing black attitude in America.

Again, to vote for someone you share little in common with just and only because you share a skin color with them is wrong. And yeah, that is racism… when whites do it anyway. Distant history be damned. We’re talking about today.

It is incredibly ironic that this has all taken place at the MLK Day holiday. Whatever happened to looking beyond one’s skin color and judging them solely by their character? What, that’s only for whites? Everyone seems to forget that as they are all too willing to look the other way and give blacks a pass for their ugly lingering racial attitudes. People have been programmed to give them a pass due to our racial history as a nation. And that is utter crap. That cow has been milked to death and contributes to ongoing racial animosity as much as egregious racial set asides do. Time to end that Racial Double Standard and hold everyone to the very same standards and start the long overdue move toward a colorblind society. I can dream…

You stay up late just to post that shallow drivel, Dave? Try as you might (and the Lib apologist in you ensures that you will) you will find nothing racist in what I have posted here. Well, except for the black racism I have outlined. But then, you’re onea them guilt-ridden folks all too willing to approve of racism so long as it is of the black variety.

Cute.

Where did I give anyone a pass, Lying Lib Dave? Didn't I clearly state that it is just as wrong no matter which race is doing it? Oh, yes, I believe I did.
