I demand that my legislators enact a Three Strikes Law so that there is no longer such thing as “career shoplifters” roaming free, driving up consumer costs of goods with their lazy greed.
I’d rather pay for them to be in prison than pay for their criminal trade through higher prices in stores.
Did you know that some stores –Home Depot for instance- actually have a policy whereby their employees are forbidden to apprehend or even call the police on shoplifters? Some sort of backwards PR policy, or something. Yep, the rest of us get to pay for their misplaced sympathies when they recoup the losses from the paying public.
Please join me in letting Home Depot know that you disagree with this misguided Lib policy.
