It's 6 years Gil.

Every time I see one of those plans flying full speed into the WTC it reminds me of how mad I was that day.

I remember seeing those bumper stickers "WE WILL NEVER FORGET". You don't see too many of them anymore. It's funny how many people have forgotten in 6 short years. Forgotten that as soon as we let our guard down again we'll relive that nightmare.

Six years ago I believed we had become Israel and every day after would be deadly - luckily I was wrong

Six years ago I believed this was finally the wake up call we needed to tighten the immigration and open border policies in this country - sadly I was wrong

We can never forget

And let us not forget that despite all that the Left sees our President as the enemy.

They have worked overtime to destroy the national unity that was born that day and divide our country for their political advantage. They had to, for how else could they possibly regain power that they so ravenously want with everyone getting along?
Why anyone would vote for them thereby rewarding them for their despicable calculated efforts is beyond me.
Everyone talks about “political reconciliation” in Iraq; we need somea that here to fix the divide the LibDems have created.

I thought David wasn’t supposed to post his stupid long epic-blogs anymore. Doesn’t he have his own site for that?

David,

You and I have completely different thought processes. This is my opinion, but the differences between all the things you mentioned and why we are fighting the war on terror are as follows.

When someone walks up to you and punches you in the face, you have to take care of business. When someone attacks you, you have to stand up for yourself. If we don't respond to terrorism, who is going to fly? Who is going to work in a skyscraper?

We have a military to ensure that we live free. They are off doing their job right now and fighting terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan so that civilians don't die on American soil.

Only a fool would let the greatest Military in history sit on the sidelines and let terrorists attack us physically and psychologically so that we can give some other country clean drinking water or buy up farmland.

Thought process?? Is that what Libs call that angry emotional mess?

And how about that fool Hanoi John Kerry and his “Kinder and gentler approach to terrorism”.
The Left saw an opportunity to capitalize on their engineered anti-Bush climate and insert one of the most radical traitor Liberals our country has ever had the misfortune of knowing. They lost that gamble. Phew. That was a close one.

Dave, the Left did all they could to divide our country, as I explained to you up there. Maybe you should try taking that reading comprehension class at the community college.

And calling a traitor a traitor does not a unity destroyer make. Or something. Lol… Anyway, it’s the traitors that are the problem, not those of us who call them on it.

The threat of terrorism is overblown relative to the actual risk.

Slick Willie seemed to have this same attitude. And his inaction led directly to the events of 9/11.
Thanks, a lot, Willie. But your LibDem buddies have given you a pass.

You are answering your own questions. Of course the threat of terrorism is overblown relative to actual risk! That is how it works. Terrorism wouldn't work any other way. If they took over 4 airplanes, crashed them, collapsed two buildings, crashed one into the headquarters of the strongest military in the world and no one noticed, no cared and no one changed their lives one bit, then their strategy would have failed. But it doesn't work like that. Life as we know it ground to a halt that day.

I've done my time in the Army Mr Diano and I'm sure that there aren't too many soldiers who would want David Dilano speaking on their behalf. They are volunteers. They are patriots and they are part of the solution instead of just being that guy on the sidelines who does nothing but criticize everyone else. There probably aren't too many service members who haven't enlisted or re-enlisted since 9-11-01. So they all know full well what they are doing.

Well said, Ed! I too am certain that our brave boys in uniform would not want Liberals speaking for them and using them as pawns in their cheap political games. Heck, most of them are Righties and they hate the filthy enemy-enabling Libs as much as the rest of us do!

Dave, you’re being intellectually dishonest when you try to flip things as you have here. Everyone knows that it is you Libs who are the traitors and the cowards and who would appease the terrorists and try to negotiate with them.

I'm glad you're enjoying your freedom David.

I'm not going to debate with you anymore about this topic on Patriot's Day.

I think we've said enough about our positions and logical people will read these comments and draw conclusions about both of us.
